Data Deletion Instructions

BrokerBuz (operated by Kiran Infosoft) integrates with Meta's WhatsApp Business API via Facebook Login (Embedded Signup). When a tenant connects their WhatsApp Business Account through our platform, we receive and store certain account-level data from Meta. This page explains what data we hold and how you can request its deletion.

1. What Data We Collect via Meta

Through the WhatsApp Business Embedded Signup flow, we collect and store the following data provided by Meta on behalf of your WhatsApp Business Account:

  • WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID)
  • Phone number ID linked to your WhatsApp Business Account
  • Business phone number
  • WhatsApp Business Account display name
  • Access token used to send and receive messages via the WhatsApp API

We do not store your personal Facebook account details, friends list, or any information beyond what is required to operate the WhatsApp Business integration.

2. How We Use This Data

The data collected from Meta is used exclusively to:

  • Send WhatsApp messages to your leads directly from the BrokerBuz CRM dashboard.
  • Receive and display inbound WhatsApp messages from your leads in the conversation history panel.
  • Authenticate and authorize API calls to the Meta WhatsApp Business API on your behalf.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You can remove your WhatsApp Business Account data from BrokerBuz at any time using either of the following methods:

Option 1 — Disconnect via Dashboard (Instant)
  1. Log in to your BrokerBuz tenant dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Admin → WhatsApp Settings.
  3. Click Disconnect WhatsApp and confirm.
  4. Your WhatsApp Business Account credentials (WABA ID, phone number ID, access token) are immediately removed from our system.
Option 2 — Email Deletion Request

If you no longer have access to your account or prefer to submit a formal deletion request, send an email to:

Include your registered email address and WhatsApp phone number. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

4. Also Remove Access via Facebook

In addition to removing data from BrokerBuz, we recommend revoking app access directly from your Facebook account settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook account and open Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Click Apps and Websites.
  3. Find BrokerBuz in the list and click Remove.
  4. Confirm the removal. This revokes our app's access to your Facebook/Meta account.

5. Data Retention After Deletion

Once a deletion request is completed (via dashboard disconnect or email), we permanently delete your WhatsApp Business Account credentials from our database. WhatsApp conversation logs linked to your tenant may be retained in anonymised form for up to 30 days for auditing purposes, after which they are also permanently deleted.
